TikTok Shop runs on an Account Health Rating: violations cost points, points close shops. The system gives you things Amazon doesn't — a correction path for some violations — and takes something away: you get exactly two appeals. Sellers who fire the first one off in an hour of panic have spent half their case.

The path: Appeal (maximum two) or use the correction path where offered. Your first appeal carries half your case — TikTok gives you only two.
TikTok's enforcement policy lets it hold shop money for set tiers after violations. Longer tiers attach to more serious or repeated violations.
The path: Appeal the violation itself first — the hold follows the violation decision — and track the tier clock from the notice date.
The hardest TikTok outcome: the policy reserves permanent withholding for deceptive or fraudulent activity. This is the notice where a lawyer stops being optional.
The path: Appeal once, well — then lawyer review. Do not spend both appeals on guesses.
TikTok offers something Amazon does not: for some violations you can correct the problem (fix the listing, complete training, supply the document) instead of appealing.
The path: Correction path when it is offered and the facts allow it — it is faster than an appeal and does not spend one of your two.
